Lewis Brownlow's family has been in the Austin area since the 1800s. He comes from a long line of family members who have been in the construction and real estate business. In 2001, Lewis started his career as a real estate agent, representing many clients in the sale and purchase of their homes in the Central Texas area. He saw a need for better home inspection services and in 2009, he decided to transition to home inspections and began developing Shoal Creek Home Inspections.
